Victor Moses: I Always Want To Play For Nigeria

Victor Moses has said that he is eager to get his international career, after a series of disruptions.

The Chelsea winger has not featured much for the Super Eagles, since the Africa Cup of Nations in 2013. But he was back in action, as Nigeria beat Tanzania 1-0 in their last 2017 AFCON qualifier last weekend.

“I’m really happy to be back with Nigeria again after a stop-start international career,” “I’ve been injured lots of times and that spell gave the fans the wrong impression about my commitment. “It was frustrating but I’m over that, played the last three competitive games and getting better. When you are playing you enjoy yourself.”
Moses, who is back at Chelsea after spending the last three seasons on loan, says his next ambition is to help Nigeria qualify for the 2018 World Cup.
“I want to play every single game for my country and I need to keep doing well at Chelsea to enjoy that,” he said. “We’ve failed to reach the next Nations Cup but we have a new manager and things must take a great path for us to reach the World Cup.“I played the last one in Brazil with an injury but I want to play in the next one and it starts with that tough away game against Zambia.”
