House Of Reps Set To Honour UNILAG's Record Breaker Ayodele Dada

Ayodele Dada, the Ekiti State boy who studied Psychology and graduated with a CGPA of 5.0, will be recognized for his exceptional academic performance at a session soon. 

The House of Representatives views the achievement as inspirational and should be celebrated to encourage other students The event had been scheduled for March 22 but the House shifted it because it would not be sitting. 

Dada, who studied Psychology, graduated with a 5.0 Cumulative Grade Point Average. The feat is first in the history of the university and has been a big topic of discussion, particularly in the academic community in the country in the past weeks. 

He'd be ushered into the House to sit among members for a special recognition and a motion will be moved to honour him, during which members will speak on his achievement. The Leader of the House, Femi Gbajabiamila, wrote to the lawmakers about the need to do so. 

“His story is compelling and inspirational to the youth and he represents and mirrors the hope of our tomorrow.”, he wrote in the letter.
